aNetAdmin

To access aNetAdmin pages go to https://ssl1.anet.net/yourdomain.cgi/vip.cgi

Depending on which server your site is hosted on, your secure server may be ssl2.anet.net, ssl3.anet.net, ssl4.anet.net, ssl5.anet.net, etc. You can contact support to find out which server your site is hosted on.

aNetAdmin will give you access to the following:

  • Permissions
Some files (like CGI) must be executable. Change these file permissions from this menu.

  • DomainMail
Redirect email attached to your domain name using this tool. For example, sales@yourdomain.com can be forwarded to johndoe@yahoo.com.

  • Password Changes
You may change your password at any time with this function. You need not contact tech support.

  • TelnetAccess
Your login name and password for shell access are the same as your FTP login and password. To activate Telnet go to: http://yourdomain.com/cgi-bin/vip.cgi and click on Telnet access. This will give you a 10 minute window to login using your choice of Telnet software. You must repeat these steps every time you want to use Telnet. This is a security precaution to stop unauthorized Telnet by hackers.

  • HTAccess
This option enables you to make your website password protected.

  • Auto-Responders
You can generate an automatic email response to your clients when they send email to a specific email address.
